I love to walk in the morning with my husband after he is coming from his work night shift.
Great place to have a family and or company picnic. The area is kept clean and safe. Large area to go jogging.
Sometimes we are going around our smaller Lake Frank. It's a sorter walk for us and we are doing it more often.
One of the beautiful sightseeing places in Gaithersburg neighborhood. It is very scenic and attractive.
Quaint little park in the middle of suburbia. The lake is a nice place to spend the day at. Has many picnic tables and shelters. Was not so crowded in the middle of summer..
We are walking me and my son from our house to the Needwood Lake 2 miles. Renting a boat( each time different one) for one hour or two. They have at least four different kind. Now my almost 9years old know how to manage 4 different boats. The cost is $13 per hour. It's very nice and peaceful. And walking 2 miles back. It's a great thing to do with your kids! My son is very happy to walk. We do not call it exercise but adventure!
Both Lakes connected with well taking care trail! People walking, jogging and biking. You can see people with kids, dogs. You can see a lot of couples walking, gogging or biking together.
Nice place to go hiking or biking. They have a picnic area near the water, easy to find parking, no to busy. The parking is free, dogs are allow.
